Porter Airlines landed in Arizona incorporating a non-stop service between Toronto-Pearson and Phoenix-Sky Harbor, expanding the Canadian airline’s offering of vacation destinations.
Flight PD 641 was operated by an Embraer E195-E2 registered as C-GKQR, which took off from Lester Pearson International Airport on October 3 at 10:13 local time and landed at Phoenix-Sky Harbor Airport at 11:22, after four hours and ten minutes.
“This inaugural flight from Toronto to Phoenix builds on Porter’s growing presence in the western U.S., now with service to Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Palm Springs, San Diego and San Francisco. Our unique approach to affordable air travel is something Arizona will welcome as we continue to deliver on our promise to make flying better,” said Kevin Jackson, President of Porter Airlines

- Flight PD 641: YYZ 10:00 – PHX 12:00 daily flights.
- Flight PD 642: PHX 13:00 – YYZ 20:05 daily flights.
The route is operated on 132-seat Embraer E195-E2 aircraft in a unique configuration, with complimentary beverages, snacks and free high-speed Wi-Fi. There are also connections to and from Montreal, Ottawa and Halifax via its hub at Toronto-Pearson.
Porter’s U.S. network has service to Los Angeles, San Francisco, Washington-Dulles, Fort Lauderdale, Fort Myers, Miami, Orlando, Tampa, Chicago-Midway, Boston, Las Vegas, Newark and coming soon to San Diego, Palm Springs and Palm Beach.
