ZIPAIR Tokyo is the first low-cost airline to offer long-haul flights at Houston-Intercontinental

ZIPAIR Tokyo is the first low-cost airline to offer long-haul flights at George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston with a nonstop service from Tokyo-Narita. The airline will compete in this market with United Airlines and All Nippon Airways, the latter operating from Tokyo-Haneda.

With the arrival of ZIPAIR, five Asian airlines now operate at Houston-Intercontinental, complementing the services of All Nippon Airways, EVA Airways, Emirates, and Qatar Airways. This new service to Houston will boost leisure and business travel, consolidating the destination’s international connectivity,

This new partnership with ZIPAIR aligns perfectly with Houston Airports’ mission to connect the world’s people, businesses, cultures, and economies with Houston. By adding more airline partners like ZIPAIR, we are responding to the growing passenger demand for international travel options. The flights will be operated on Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft with a capacity of 290 seats in two classes: 18 Zip Full-Flat and 272 in Economy, the service includes free Wi-Fi. Promotional fares start at $333 one way. The low-cost airline in the United States and Canada offers services to Honolulu, Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Jose (California) and Vancouver.

From March 9 to March 29, 2025.

  • Flight ZG 16: NRT 10:00 – IAH 07:45 Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.
