Brisbane Welcomes Delta’s Airbus A350 Flights from Los Angeles

Delta Air Lines expands its Pacific network with the launch of nonstop flights between Los Angeles and Brisbane, scheduled for three operations per week. The capital of Queensland is the airline’s second destination after Sydney.

Flight DL 93 was operated by an Airbus A350 registered as N522DZ with a special livery for the LA 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The aircraft departed Los Angeles International Airport at 11:23 PM local time on December 4 and landed at Brisbane Airport at 7:18 AM on December 6, after 13 hours and 56 minutes.

With this new service, Brisbane now has 31 weekly flights through five airlines: Air Canada (from Vancouver), American Airlines (from Dallas/Fort Worth), United Airlines (from San Francisco), and Qantas (from Los Angeles). Delta offers a dozen connections to cities in the United States and Canada on this route.

Delta’s new flights are supported by the Queensland Aviation Investment Fund, established to increase the number of international visitors spending in the state. Brisbane ranks as the fifth most visited Australian city by international travelers from the United States.

Flight schedule between Los Angeles (LAX) and Brisbane (BNE)

• Flight DL 93: LAX 11:05 PM – BNE 7:45 AM+2 Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

• Flight DL 92: BNE 10:45 AM – LAX 6:05 AM Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday.

The new route will be operated by Airbus A350-900 aircraft with a capacity of 306 seats across four classes: 32 Delta One Suites, 48 Delta Premium Select, 36 Delta Comfort, and 159 Main Cabin seats. The airline operates over 4,000 daily flights to nearly 280 destinations worldwide.
