Aegean Airlines joins Air Transat’s interline Connectair platform

Air Transat announces the addition of Aegean Airlines, Greece’s largest airline, to its Connectair virtual interline service. Customers of both carriers can now combine flights across 53 destinations in Europe and the Middle East including Heraklion (HER), Larnaca (LCA), Cairo (CAI), Mykonos (JMK), Thessaloniki (SKG), Tel Aviv (TLV), among others.

Air Transat currently offers flights from Toronto (YYZ) and Montreal (YUL) to Athens (ATH) with three weekly flights operated on Airbus A330-200s on both routes and will also offer 17,596 seats per month across 53 air operations and Eleftherios Venizelos International Airport (ATH) is Aegean Airlines’ main hub.

This addition provides a total of nine partners that can be accessed through Air Transat’s Connectair platform and access to more than 300 additional destinations available in Europe, North Africa, the Middle East, Central America, South America, the United States and Canada.

Connections are available through the search engine at airtransat.com and through selected flight aggregators. Bookings also include assistance in the event of flight delays or cancellations, ensuring that travelers arrive at their destination as soon as possible.
