Aerolíneas Argentinas and Saudia Airlines Sign Codeshare Agreement
Aerolíneas Argentinas and Saudia Airlines, both members of SkyTeam, announced the signing of a codeshare agreement to enhance air connectivity between Argentina and Saudi Arabia.
Through this agreement, passengers can fly with Aerolíneas Argentinas from Buenos Aires to Madrid or Rome, and from there continue to Jeddah and Riyadh on Saudia Airlines flights.
«This strategic advancement strengthens the company’s global network, creating a key bridge between Argentina and the Middle East with smoother connections,» stated Aerolíneas Argentinas in a press release. «With these new connections, Aerolíneas Argentinas continues to expand its international horizons, offering more options for tourism and business and reaffirming its commitment to excellence and global connectivity,» they added.
Currently, Aerolíneas Argentinas operates four weekly flights from Buenos Aires/Ezeiza to Rome/Fiumicino and ten weekly flights to Madrid.
Saudia, on the other hand, operates six weekly flights to Rome from Jeddah and five weekly flights from Riyadh. To Madrid, it operates four weekly flights from Jeddah.
Aerolíneas Argentinas also has codeshare agreements on certain routes with companies such as Aeroméxico, Air Europa, Air France, China Eastern, Delta Air Lines, ITA Airways, KLM, Korean Air, GOL, and El AL.
