The Serbian national airline will operate to its third destination in Spain twice a week: on Wednesdays and Saturdays during April and May, and from the beginning of June, on Thursdays and Sundays.

On that occasion, a ceremony was held, attended by the Ambassador of Spain to Serbia, SE Raúl Bartolomé Molina, the Ambassador of Serbia to Spain Katarina Lalić-Smajević, and representatives of Air Serbia and the airport.

«We are very pleased to start the new expansion of our network by launching the Valencia service and strengthening our presence in Spain,» said Boško Rupić, General Manager Commercial and Strategy of Air Serbia.

«Spain is a traditionally interesting market for our passengers and a very popular summer vacation destination, and this is further evidenced by the high demand and good occupancy factor on flights to all our destinations in this Mediterranean country in the coming period,» concluded Rupić.

    Valencia: year-round sunshine

The company hopes to attract Serbian tourists to Valencia, which is located on the Mediterranean coast, and is known as a city of culture, good entertainment and gastronomy, but also for its beaches and 300 days of sunshine a year.

Air Serbia’s flights to Valencia provide convenient connections to numerous cities via Belgrade with the company, such as Athens, Bucharest, Dubrovnik, Larnaca, Podgorica, Sarajevo, Skopje, Sofia, Split, Thessaloniki, Tirana and Tivat.

They recently increased their flights to Barcelona with the addition of the Airbus A330-200.

Air Serbia operates to Madrid with two weekly flights and to Barcelona with three weekly flights. Recently, the company decided to expand the seat offer to the Catalan city by replacing one of the weekly Airbus A319 flights, with 144 seats, to Airbus A330-200 with 257 seats.
