For the summer season of 2025, Brandenburg Airport will feature a new transatlantic connection: Air Transat will offer a nonstop service between Toronto-Pearson and Berlin, providing the only link between Canada and the German capital.
The leisure airline offers travelers codeshare flights with its partner Porter Airlines to other Canadian destinations, including Montreal, Calgary, and Vancouver, through Toronto-Pearson. The flights are already available for purchase.
Air Transat is the fourth airline to offer transatlantic flights from Berlin-Brandenburg Airport, complementing services by Delta Air Lines from New York-JFK, United Airlines from Newark, and Norse Atlantic from New York-JFK and Miami.

«The new connection with Toronto is another step on the path toward expanding BER’s long-distance services. We are delighted to have secured a strong new partner in Air Transat. The connection with Toronto improves the capital region’s connectivity and opens new travel opportunities to North America for travelers from Berlin and Brandenburg,» said Aletta von Massenbach, CEO of Flughafen Berlin Brandenburg GmbH.
«This new route aligns with our revenue diversification strategy by targeting a key market with potential. It leverages our A321LR aircraft, allowing us to offer a high-quality flight experience, as well as our joint venture with Porter, which connects the German capital with several important Canadian cities,” said Sebastian Ponce, Chief Revenue Officer of Transat.
