Airbus has revealed a new First Class cabin concept for its A350-1000 model at the Aircraft Interiors Expo in Hamburg, responding to growing demand from airlines for premium onboard products.
The concept, named “First Class Experience”, is being showcased using augmented reality (AR) at the Airbus stand, offering visitors a three-dimensional, immersive look at the aircraft manufacturer's vision for a high-end cabin experience.
At the heart of the new design is the First Class Master Suite, a centrally positioned cabin between the two aisles. Designed in-house by Airbus, this suite is intended for two passengers and features exclusive access to a private bathroom, dressing area, bar, and double bed.

To enable this configuration, Airbus implemented a “1-1-1” layout—three suites per row—which required a reallocation of space between the aircraft’s front doors. The company explained that elements like lavatories and storage compartments have been relocated outside the main passenger area and concentrated into a new central module situated behind Door 1 and in front of the flight deck.

Additionally, access to the front crew rest area has also been moved to this central module, a change that Airbus says improves privacy and minimizes disruptions for First Class passengers.
“The A350-1000 is ideal for hosting premium cabin products thanks to its width and high ceilings,” the company stated in its announcement. Airbus claims these attributes allow for sculpted ceiling panels and a welcoming light feature at the aircraft’s entry, enhancing the overall sense of space and comfort.

“The intention behind presenting this concept in AR is to inspire potential customers and demonstrate how the new central module allows for a true First Class cabin integration in the A350-1000,” Airbus added. The manufacturer also noted it is open to airline feedback to refine the design.
