On Thursday, September 1, 2022, FAdeA received the visit of a protocol and technical delegation from the Republic of India in order to evaluate cooperation possibilities.
The visit was led by the Indian Ambassador to Argentina, Mr. Dinesh Bhatia, who was received by Dr. Mirta Iriondo and Eng. Franco Giuggioloni.
The Indian delegation was composed, in turn, by executives from Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), one of the most important aeronautical design and production companies in Asia; from Bharat Electronics, a company dedicated to electronic and defense systems; and a representative of the Aeronautical Development Agency of India.
The visit allowed FAdeA to connect with companies such as HAL and Bharat, which have a range of capabilities, products and services with a high potential for complementarity with the Argentine aerospace industry.
This visit to FAdeA’s facilities in the Argentine province of Cordoba is highly relevant in view of the recent adoption of a common agenda for strengthening technical/economic relations between India and Argentina, which consists of 37 points.
In point n°10, within the section on Cooperation in strategic sectors, signed between both nations, the specific interest of the Argentine Air Force (FAA) in the Indian-made light fighter HAL Tejas, in order to recover its supersonic fighter capability, is mentioned.

The visit of HAL and Bharat Electronics representatives to FAdeA can be interpreted as a first serious approach to establish the parameters of an eventual technology transfer by which, if selected by FAA, the Indian fighter could be assembled in Córdoba.
Another market opportunity for FAdeA would be the possibility of integrating as a tier 2 or tier 3 manufacturer for the aerospace logistics chain that India aspires to develop, in the region and in the world, from its exports of defense and space material..material..
