Dominican low-cost airline Arajet has announced the addition of Chilean wines from Viña Santa Rita to its onboard service starting in February.
As part of its strategy to offer products representative of its various destinations, the airline will include 120 Reserva Especial in Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon Blanc varieties. The wines will be served in 187.5-milliliter bottles and supplied by El Catador, a leading wine distributor in the Dominican Republic.
Carlos Mesa, Arajet’s Senior Vice President of Customer Experience, emphasized that the selection was based on Santa Rita’s global reputation and quality. He also highlighted that the airline’s "Cositas pa' picar" menu offers competitively priced food and beverages aimed at enhancing the passenger experience.
Arajet also reminded travelers that its in-flight menu features over 30 local and international products, available throughout their journey.
