Arajet Increases Flights Between Buenos Aires and Punta Cana Starting April 2025
Arajet expands its flight frequency to Argentina, operating eight weekly flights permanently starting April 2025.
A recent reservation system update has revealed that Arajet will increase frequencies on its route between Buenos Aires/Ezeiza (EZE) and Punta Cana (PUJ), Dominican Republic, starting in April 2025.
From April 19, 2025, the airline will expand from seven to eight weekly flights, adding a second daily flight once per week. This schedule was previously implemented during December and January to accommodate high demand during the Southern Hemisphere summer season.
The company confirmed to Aviacionline that it will maintain the eight-weekly-flight frequency year-round.
Arajet’s Growth in Argentina and Beyond
According to Argentina’s National Civil Aviation Administration (ANAC), Arajet transported 73,087 passengers to Argentina in 2024, with a 72% load factor. In total, 272,000 Argentinians visited the Dominican Republic last year, solidifying Argentina as one of the top tourist markets for the Caribbean destination.
Beyond increased flight frequencies, Arajet also offers connections from Punta Cana to Cancún, Mexico City, Bogotá, Montreal, and Toronto. Additionally, the airline is set to launch Miami and San Juan (Puerto Rico) routes in April and June 2025, respectively.
This expansion aligns with Arajet’s fleet growth, as the airline is set to receive three new Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft, bringing its total fleet to 13 aircraft.
