Atlas Air Worldwide Becomes Official Logistics Partner of Aston Martin Aramco Formula One® Team
Atlas Air Worldwide and the Aston Martin Aramco Formula One® Team have announced a multi-year partnership, making Atlas Air the team’s official logistics partner starting with the 2025 Formula 1 season.
Optimizing Global Logistics for Formula 1
Under this agreement, Atlas Air will streamline global air freight transportation for Aston Martin Aramco, ensuring the efficient movement of critical components and equipment needed for Formula 1 races worldwide.
As the largest global operator of Boeing 747 freighters, Atlas specializes in logistics solutions for various industries, including sports and entertainment. The company currently operates:
- 48 Boeing 747-400F
- 13 Boeing 747-8F
- 13 Boeing 767-300F
- 8 Boeing 777F
- 8 Boeing 737-800F
Expansion into Motorsport

Atlas Branding to Appear on AMR25 Car and Team Gear
As part of the partnership, Atlas Air Worldwide’s logo will debut on the AMR25 race car, as well as on the drivers’ and mechanics’ suits, when officially unveiled before the 2025 season. This marks the first time Atlas branding will appear on a Formula 1 car and team, underscoring the significance of the collaboration.
Beyond logistics, the partnership will include joint initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, advance technology, and promote sustainable practices.
Aston Martin Aramco continues to invest heavily in infrastructure, including the opening of the AMR Technology Campus in Silverstone (2023) and the construction of a state-of-the-art wind tunnel, set to launch in 2025.
Aston Martin Aramco’s Growing Presence in Formula 1
Since debuting in Formula 1 in 2021 under the leadership of Lawrence Stroll, Aston Martin Aramco has built a strong lineup featuring:
- Fernando Alonso
- Lance Stroll
- Felipe Drugovich (Reserve Driver)
- Stoffel Vandoorne (Reserve Driver)
The team also competes in the F1 Academy, with Swiss driver Tina Hausmann representing Aston Martin Aramco in the series.
