U.S.-based Aventure Aviation has acquired a Boeing 737-800 (MSN 35825), previously operated by Brazilian airline GOL, for dismantling at Ascent Aviation Services facilities in Tucson, Arizona.
This aircraft marks the 25th Boeing 737NG acquired by Aventure Aviation and will be the first dismantled in 2025. According to the company, this operation will further solidify its position as a leading supplier of 737NG parts, especially in a market facing a shortage of aircraft available for teardown due to ongoing supply chain challenges and original equipment manufacturer (OEM) constraints.
"This 737NG marks our first teardown of 2025," said Andrew Crombie, Director of Asset Management at Aventure Aviation. "With the ongoing shortage of teardown assets due to OEM and supply chain challenges, this acquisition strengthens our position as a leading supplier of 737NG parts."
The company also stated that it is actively engaging with aircraft owners, financial institutions, leasing companies, and airlines to identify cost-effective solutions for dismantling inactive aircraft.
"We continue to see interest from investors looking to diversify their portfolios," said Talha Faruqi, President of Aventure Aviation. "With our expertise in aircraft teardowns, we offer solutions for capital deployment, asset management services, and material consignments for stakeholders."
Aventure Aviation to Attend MRO Americas 2025
Aventure Aviation has also announced its participation in the MRO Americas Conference, scheduled for April 8–10, 2025, in Atlanta, Georgia. The company aims to establish connections with airlines and maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) providers to meet the growing demand for refurbished aircraft parts.
