Avianca has started selling tickets for its new direct route between Bogotá and Dallas, which will begin operations on May 26, 2025, with four weekly flights.
According to the airline, the service will be operated with Airbus A320 aircraft, each with a capacity of 180 passengers, offering a total of 1,440 seats per week between the two cities.
David Alemán, Avianca’s Sales Director for Colombia, stated:
"We continue to strengthen connectivity across the Americas. We are thrilled to bring our customers closer to this incredible city, known for its vibrant urban art district, while promoting cultural, commercial, and tourism exchange between the two regions."
New Route Schedule
- Bogotá – Dallas (Flight AV0188): Departs at 7:30 AM, arrives at 1:20 PM
- Dallas – Bogotá (Flight AV0189): Departs at 2:50 PM, arrives at 8:15 PM
Flights will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, subject to government approval. Tickets for this new route are now available through Avianca’s sales channels, including its website, mobile app, physical sales offices, and travel agencies.
Avianca’s Expansion in the U.S.
This new route expands Avianca’s direct connections between Colombia and the United States, which already include destinations such as Miami, New York, Orlando, Fort Lauderdale, Boston, and Chicago, among others.
