Avianca inaugurated its non-stop flights between Bogotá and Buenos Aires’ Jorge Newbery Aeroparque, which will operate three times a week, offering over 1,000 seats and competing in this segment with Aerolíneas Argentinas. This service complements the two flights the Colombian airline offers at Ezeiza Airport, providing an alternative for passengers who prefer to arrive closer to the center of the Argentine capital.
Flight AV 155 was operated by an Airbus A320neo registered as N940AV, which departed from El Dorado International Airport at 21:59 local time on December 9 and landed at Jorge Newbery Aeroparque at 05:51 the following day after five hours and 52 minutes of flight.
Avianca is the sixth foreign airline to operate at Aeroparque, joining services from GOL Linhas Aéreas, JetSmart, LATAM Airlines, Paranair, and SKY Airline.
