BermudAir to Add Two Embraer 190s, Expanding Capacity and Range
BermudAir will receive two Embraer 190 aircraft in spring 2025, increasing its capacity and operational range. With enhanced cargo space and new route opportunities, the airline aims to stabilize operations and meet growing demand. The expanded fleet will support BermudAir's plans for strategic growth and improved passenger experience
BermudAir will begin 2025 with the addition of two Embraer 190 aircraft, which will be delivered during the spring. These new aircraft will offer greater passenger capacity and extended operational range, allowing the airline to enhance its network.
With a capacity of 96 seats, the Embraer 190s will join the two Embraer 175s currently operating in BermudAir’s fleet. In addition to accommodating more passengers, these aircraft will increase cargo capacity by an additional 1,000 kg. Their extended range of 1,000 kilometers will enable the airline to operate longer routes and diversify its services.
“After just a year since founding BermudAir, we are thrilled to take this next step in our journey,” said Adam Scott, founder and CEO of BermudAir. “The addition of these two Embraer 190 aircraft will allow us to grow strategically while maintaining the high standards of reliability and service that our customers expect. This expansion will help us stabilize operations, create new travel opportunities, and enhance the experience for all who fly with BermudAir.”
According to the airline, one of the new aircraft will be designated for charter operations and as a reserve unit, ensuring operational flexibility. The second aircraft will support increased frequencies on existing routes and the opening of new connections.
“Knowing when to grow and how to do so responsibly is essential for ensuring long-term success. This expansion reflects our commitment to meeting customer needs and delivering the reliable, exceptional service for which BermudAir is known,” concluded Scott.
