Boeing appoints Anna Clementina Veclani as Managing Director for Italy and Southern Europe
Veclani will be based in Rome and will report directly to Liam Benham, President of Boeing for the EU, NATO, and Government Affairs in Europe.
Boeing announced the appointment of Anna Clementina Veclani as Managing Director for Italy and Southern Europe. In this role, Veclani will be responsible for overseeing all company operations in Italy, Spain, Greece, and Portugal, managing relationships with key industry stakeholders, and leading strategic initiatives to drive business growth in the region. Additionally, she will maintain her role in defense business development for Southern Europe and the Balkans.
“Italy and Southern Europe are fundamental to Boeing's strategic growth, as well as its innovation and supplier relationships in the European commercial and defense sectors,” said Liam Benham, Boeing's President for the European Union, NATO, and Government Affairs in Europe. “Anna's extensive experience and proven leadership in the aerospace and defense industry make her the ideal choice to lead our operations in this key region. I am confident that under her leadership, we will strengthen our partnerships and expand our presence in the area.”
Anna Veclani has over 15 years of experience in the aerospace and defense sector, including eight years at Boeing. Before joining the company, she held key positions at Airbus Defence and Space in Italy, serving as Institutional Relations Manager and Business Development Manager. Her career began as a researcher at the Istituto Affari Internazionali, and she gained international experience working at the Embassy of Italy in the United States and at the Assembly of Western European Union Security and Defense in Paris.
