Jorge Newbery Airport (Aeroparque) in Buenos Aires has been recognized as the best airport in the Americas in the 4 to 20 million annual passengers category.
The award was presented at Routes Americas, one of the leading events in the aviation industry, bringing together airlines, airports, and government entities to promote connectivity through new route development. Winners were selected by a jury of airline executives, evaluating airport marketing and event excellence.
According to the event organizers, Aeroparque stood out for handling a record 14.9 million passengers in 2024 and for adding new routes to Bogotá and Lima, as well as welcoming Avianca and SKY as regular operators.

- Won the Destination Award for its strategic airline partnerships
- Helped boost Las Vegas’ air connectivity, adding 300,000 seats in 2024
- Reached a record 170 nonstop routes, according to Aviation Week, part of the Routes Americas organizing group
