Canadian airline expands in Latin America with 13 new routes
Porter Airlines grows its winter schedule with direct flights from Toronto, Ottawa, and Hamilton.
Porter Airlines is expanding its international footprint for the winter 2025 season, launching new direct flights from Toronto-Pearson, Ottawa, and Hamilton to vacation destinations in Costa Rica, Mexico, and the Caribbean.
The Canadian airline becomes the only carrier connecting Ottawa with Grand Cayman (GCM) and Liberia/Guanacaste (LIR), and Hamilton with Puerto Vallarta (PVR) and Nassau (NAS). The expansion complements the network of its partner Air Transat, offering travelers more choice and convenience.
All flights will be operated with Embraer E195-E2 aircraft, configured with 132 all-economy seats and featuring free Wi-Fi, snacks, and complimentary beverages.
New route schedule:
• Toronto – Cancún (CUN): daily service from November 5, 2025
• Ottawa – Cancún: three weekly flights from December 17, 2025
• Hamilton – Cancún: four weekly flights from December 17, 2025
• Toronto – Puerto Vallarta: three weekly flights from November 14, 2025
• Ottawa – Puerto Vallarta: two weekly flights from December 13, 2025
• Hamilton – Puerto Vallarta: two weekly flights from December 18, 2025
• Toronto – Nassau: one weekly flight from November 26, 2025
• Ottawa – Nassau: one weekly flight from December 13, 2025
• Hamilton – Nassau: two weekly flights from December 14, 2025
• Toronto – Grand Cayman: three weekly flights from December 16, 2025
• Ottawa – Grand Cayman: one weekly flight from December 19, 2025
• Toronto – Liberia/Guanacaste: three weekly flights from December 4, 2025
• Ottawa – Liberia/Guanacaste: two weekly flights from December 17, 2025
