Cathay Pacific Unveils New Business Class Aria Suite in Europe

Cathay Pacific has introduced its new Business Class Aria Suite in Europe for the first time, aiming to enhance the long-haul travel experience. The airline has selected the London-Hong Kong route as the first to feature this upgraded design, which will be gradually implemented across its fleet of Boeing 777-300ER aircraft.

A $12 Billion Investment in Fleet Modernization

Cathay Pacific announced that the Aria Suite is part of a seven-year, HKD 100 billion (~USD 12 billion) investment plan, focused on fleet modernization, cabin product upgrades, and enhanced airport lounges.

Aria Suite: Features and Enhancements

The Aria Suite is designed to provide a more personalized travel experience, featuring:

Wider seats with enhanced comfort
Premium finishes for a more luxurious feel
An intuitive design that prioritizes passenger convenience

The new cabin was officially launched in Hong Kong a few months ago and has already received industry awards for innovation. In addition to Business Class, Cathay Pacific has also upgraded its Premium Economy and Economy Class cabins across its Boeing 777-300ER fleet.

London Launch Event and European Expansion

To celebrate the European debut of Aria Suite, Cathay Pacific hosted an event at Theatre Royal Drury Lane in London, where attendees had the opportunity to experience the new Business Class cabin firsthand. The airline also gave away Business Class flights to Hong Kong during the event.

“We are proud to offer our UK customers the long-awaited Aria Suite—a premium, customer-focused travel experience,” said Brian Tsoi, Cathay Pacific’s Regional General Manager for Europe.

Tsoi highlighted London's strategic importance, stating that it was chosen as the first European city to receive the new cabin due to the significance of the London-Hong Kong route.

Additionally, he announced new routes from Munich and the return of flights to Brussels and Rome by late 2025.

“This summer, we will offer nearly 100 weekly round-trip flights between Europe and Hong Kong,” he added.

Future Expansion of Aria Suite

Cathay Pacific confirmed that it will continue rolling out the Aria Suite across its Boeing 777-300ER fleet in the coming months. The airline also plans to expand this premium cabin experience to other long-haul routes, reinforcing its commitment to modernization and connectivity with Asia.
