Clic Air Strengthens Its Presence in Colombia, Transporting Nearly Two Million Passengers in 2024
The airline increases frequencies on key routes and incorporates technology into its customer service.
Clic Air has solidified its position in the Colombian aviation market, carrying nearly two million passengers in 2024. With a network of over 25 domestic destinations, the airline is gearing up for 2025 with plans for expansion, improved connectivity, and service optimization.
Currently, Clic Air operates 4,400 flights per month, ensuring at least one daily frequency on each of its domestic routes. This year, the airline will enhance connectivity with 10 daily flights on the Bogotá-Medellín route, starting at 5:30 a.m. with departures every hour. This initiative will facilitate connections to destinations such as Apartadó, Nuquí, and Montería, with reduced layover times in Medellín.
Starting May 5, passengers on this route will enjoy benefits such as direct arrivals at Olaya Herrera Airport, pet transportation on select flights, and the option to reschedule their trips at no extra cost.
Clic Air maintains routes from Bogotá, Medellín, Cali, and Bucaramanga to destinations such as Neiva, Manizales, Pasto, and Tumaco.
Between July and October 2024, the airline transported over 60,000 passengers to Nuquí, Bahía Solano, and Tumaco, coinciding with whale-watching season. This movement generated an economic impact of over 30 billion Colombian pesos in sectors such as hospitality, gastronomy, and tourism activities.
On the Tolú/Coveñas route, the airline carried 16,897 passengers during the December 2024–January 2025 high season, operating more than seven daily flights.
Fleet Expansion and Passenger Benefits
As part of its growth plan, Clic Air will add two new ATR72 aircraft between April and July 2025, increasing its fleet to 21 aircraft. Additionally, the airline continues to offer all-inclusive ticket pricing, which covers:
- Up to 5 kg of carry-on baggage and 10 kg of checked luggage
- Free seat selection
- Flexible itinerary changes with multiple daily frequencies at no extra cost
Technological Innovation: “La Capi”
In a push for technological innovation, Clic Air is launching "La Capi", a virtual assistant powered by artificial intelligence, developed in partnership with KIU. This service, available on WhatsApp (+57 313 870 5650), will streamline booking management and ticket purchases, providing travelers with fast and efficient customer support.
