Copa Airlines Increases Flight Frequency to Rosario
The Panamanian airline resumes its 10 weekly frequencies between May and August.
A recent update to the reservation system has revealed that Copa Airlines will once again increase the frequency of its flights to Rosario (ROS), enhancing the Argentine city's connections with destinations across the Americas.
Between January and February 2025, the airline had increased its weekly flights from 7 to 10 but later scaled back operations after the peak season ended. Now, from May to August 2025, it will restore the 10 weekly frequencies.
- Flight CM 882: PTY 15:33 – 00:23 (+1) ROS / Daily
- Flight CM 899: PTY 18:53 – 03:53 (+1) ROS / Mondays, Wednesdays, and Sundays
- Flight CM 836: ROS 01:29 – 06:32 PTY / Daily
- Flight CM 897: ROS 05:07 – 10:10 PTY / Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays
While the reservation system currently shows availability for four months, the extended frequency could continue throughout the year, depending on demand. According to Argentina’s National Civil Aviation Administration (ANAC), 19,354 passengers were transported in January, with an occupancy rate of 91%.
In 2024, the route carried 103,206 passengers, achieving an occupancy factor of 92%, making it Rosario's most significant international route and the fifth busiest in Argentina outside Aeroparque Jorge Newbery and Ezeiza.
With this increase in flights, Rosario will strengthen its connectivity with Copa Airlines’ extensive network, which includes destinations in the United States, Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, and Aruba, among others.
