Delta Air Lines Resumes Second Daily Flight on Atlanta–Buenos Aires Route, Extending Seasonal Service
Delta Increases Frequency on Atlanta–Buenos Aires Route, Extending Operations from One Month to Five.
Delta Air Lines will resume its second daily flight on the Atlanta (ATL)–Buenos Aires/Ezeiza (EZE) route for the upcoming season, extending its duration to four months instead of one, according to an update in the airline’s reservation system.
The airline first introduced this second frequency between December 13, 2024, and January 16, 2025, aligning with the holiday season and increased demand from cruise passengers.
Starting November 20, 2025, Delta will reinstate the additional service, increasing frequency from 7 to 10 weekly flights. Between December 11, 2025, and January 19, 2026, this will rise to 14 weekly flights, before returning to 10 flights per week until March 2026.
Aircraft and Seating Configuration
For the second daily flight, Delta will replace the Airbus A330-300 with Boeing 767-300(ER) aircraft, configured with 216 seats across four classes:
- 26 in Delta One
- 18 in Premium Select
- 21 in Comfort+
- 151 in Economy
Meanwhile, the existing daily service will continue to operate with the Airbus A330-900 (A330neo), offering 281 seats.
Capacity Increase and Additional Operations
According to Cirium data, the extension of the second frequency during the Southern Hemisphere summer will result in a 12% increase in seat availability between November and March.
Additionally, Delta will maintain its daily Buenos Aires–New York route with A330neo aircraft from October through March.

Atlanta–Buenos Aires Route Performance
According to Argentina’s National Civil Aviation Administration (ANAC), 161,419 passengers traveled on the Atlanta–Buenos Aires route in 2024, with an average load factor of 88%.
