dnata, a global airport services provider, has secured three multi-year contracts to supply in-flight catering services for Hainan Airlines, Tianjin Air, and Beijing Capital Airlines—all former subsidiaries of the HNA Group—at two major Australian airports.
According to the company, the agreements will involve the annual production and delivery of approximately 380,000 meals by dnata’s operational teams at Melbourne (MEL) and Sydney (SYD) International Airports. The three airlines will collectively operate 19 weekly flights connecting these Australian cities with various destinations in China, transporting an estimated 200,000 passengers per year.
"We are delighted to welcome Hainan Airlines, Tianjin Air, and Beijing Capital Airlines back to Australia, and we appreciate the HNA Group's trust in dnata’s services," said Mark Stubbings, Chief Commercial Officer of dnata Catering & Retail Australia.
Stubbings further emphasized that the successful launch of operations with the three airlines underscores the dedication and professionalism of dnata’s teams.
