EasyJet Expands in the UK with Three New Routes from London-Southend
easyJet to Launch Three New Routes from London-Southend to Spain and Austria in October
EasyJet continues its growth in the UK by adding three new routes from London-Southend Airport to destinations in Spain and Austria, starting in October 2025. Fares will be available from £29.99. Additionally, nine summer services will be extended into the winter season, strengthening the airport’s year-round connectivity.
Next month, the low-cost airline will inaugurate its tenth UK base at London-Southend, offering holiday packages starting at £286 per person.
New Routes to Spain and Austria
In Spain, flights to Barcelona will operate twice a week, on Thursdays and Sundays, beginning October 26. Services to Lanzarote will run three times a week, on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, from October 27. Meanwhile, flights to Salzburg, Austria, will operate twice a week starting December 6.
With these additions, easyJet will increase its destinations from London-Southend to 20. The airline will base three aircraft at the airport, creating approximately 1,200 jobs, including positions for pilots and cabin crew.
Year-Round Leisure Destinations
EasyJet will offer year-round flights to Gran Canaria, Enfidha, Malta, Faro, Antalya, Tenerife, Marrakech, Málaga, and Palma, expanding its leisure travel options. The airline has also opened bookings for its winter season flights. easyJet Holidays will continue to provide tailored vacation packages to meet travelers' needs.
