Edelweiss Expands Spring 2025 Flights with New Routes and A340 Deployment
Edelweiss Air increases its offerings for spring 2025 with more connections to Lapland and additional direct flights to high-demand holiday destinations like Sicily, Morocco, and Greece. To meet rising demand, the airline will also deploy its Airbus A340 aircraft on select short-haul routes, ensuring greater capacity and convenience for travelers
Edelweiss expands flight offerings for spring 2025 with more direct services to high-demand short-haul destinations and additional connections to Lapland. The leisure airline will deploy Airbus A340 aircraft on select short-haul routes, providing increased seating capacity to meet growing demand.
In Northern Europe, Edelweiss extends its winter schedule with additional flights. Ski enthusiasts will have the chance to visit Lapland just before Easter, with flights scheduled to Rovaniemi on March 31, and April 3 and 7. Kittilä will see services on March 31 and April 7, while Ivalo will receive additional flights on March 28, and April 4 and 11.
The airline’s holiday offerings expand with nonstop flights to several destinations, including Catania (Sicily) and Lamezia (Calabria) in Italy, Marrakech and Agadir in Morocco, as well as Kos and Rhodes in Greece. These flights will commence in April.
Increased capacity on select routes
To accommodate rising demand, Edelweiss is deploying the Airbus A340 on certain short-haul routes. These wide-body aircraft will serve the following destinations:
- Gran Canaria: April 3 to May 1.
- Faro: March 20 and 27.
- Hurghada: Mondays, Thursdays, and Sundays.
- Larnaca (Cyprus): Thursdays in April and May.
- Sal (Cape Verde): April 1, 2, and 8.
