Embraer prepares to strengthen ties with the financial community in Asia-Pacific with its upcoming “Embraer Aircraft Finance Summit” in Tokyo on April 8, 2025. This strategic event marks the first of its kind hosted by Embraer in the region and aims to introduce banks, lessors, and other key financial players to its aircraft portfolio—placing special emphasis on the modern and fuel-efficient E-Jets E2 family.
Inspired by a successful 2024 edition held in New York, the Tokyo summit highlights Embraer’s ongoing commitment to the global financial community and its focus on the rapidly expanding aviation market in Asia-Pacific. The choice of Tokyo also reflects the long-standing relationship between Embraer and Japan’s aviation finance ecosystem, cultivated over decades.
The event is designed to give financiers a deeper understanding of the E-Jets’ potential, especially the E2 family, which is already gaining strong traction globally. Airlines such as KLM, Scoot (Singapore), LOT Polish Airlines, and Virgin Australia are among those that have incorporated these aircraft into their fleets, drawn by their operational efficiency and passenger appeal.
“The Japanese edition of the Embraer Aircraft Finance Summit will provide valuable insights into the potential of the E-Jets and contribute to a more favorable financing environment—broadly benefiting aviation economics in Japan and across the Asia-Pacific region,” said Antonio Carlos Garcia, Executive Vice President of Finance and Investor Relations at Embraer.
Arjan Meijer, President and CEO of Embraer Commercial Aviation, added: “This event is an extension of our longstanding relationship with the financial community. It will further demonstrate the capabilities of our platform, the market opportunities it presents, and the positive impact it’s already having for partner airlines.”
Embraer’s strong financial position—reinforced by its Investment Grade rating from S&P, Fitch, and Moody’s—further boosts confidence in the company and the value of its aircraft assets.
During the summit, attendees will hear market-focused presentations from Embraer executives, as well as insights from lessors, operators, and other aviation stakeholders on airline strategies and firsthand financing experiences involving the E-Jets.
With this initiative, Embraer aims not only to showcase the technical and economic advantages of its aircraft but also to ensure that financing structures actively support the rising demand for E-Jets E2 in one of the world’s most dynamic regions for commercial aviation.
