Embraer ended the fourth quarter of 2024 with an order backlog valued at $26.3 billion, the highest in its history, the company announced today. This figure represents a 40% year-over-year increase and a 16% rise compared to the previous quarter.
The company delivered 75 aircraft in the last quarter of the year, marking a 27% increase from the prior quarter, and a total of 206 aircraft in 2024—up 14% compared to 2023.

Commercial Aviation
In the Commercial Aviation segment, Embraer’s backlog reached $10.2 billion, a 15% increase from the same period last year. The company delivered 31 aircraft in the fourth quarter and 73 throughout the year, hitting the upper end of its revised estimates.
One of the standout deals of the last quarter was Luxair's confirmation of two additional E195-E2 orders, bringing its total request for this model to six aircraft. In Latin America, excluding Brazil, the most significant order came from Mexicana de Aviación, which purchased 10 Embraer E190-E2 and 10 E195-E2 aircraft.

Services & Support
The Services & Support division also saw record growth, with its backlog reaching $4.6 billion, up 50% year-over-year. This expansion was fueled by long-term contracts with Flexjet, Air Serbia, LOT Polish Airlines, and CommuteAir for E-Jets fleet support.
Defense & Security
The Defense & Security backlog increased by 67% year-over-year, reaching $4.2 billion. This growth was driven by new sales, including four C-390 Millennium and ten A-29 Super Tucano aircraft.
Among the most recent agreements, Embraer signed contracts with the Czech Republic's Ministry of Defense and another undisclosed customer, each for two C-390 Millennium aircraft. Additionally, Slovakia and Sweden selected the model, though their orders have yet to be finalized.

Improved Production Distribution
Embraer highlighted progress in its production leveling initiative, achieving a more balanced distribution of deliveries throughout the year. In 2024, 34% of deliveries occurred in the fourth quarter, an improvement from the five-year average of 45%. The company aims to continue this trend in 2025, supported by enhancements in its supply chain.
