Emirates and Condor sign codeshare agreement

Emirates and Condor have signed a mutual codeshare agreement that will take effect from October 2024, subject to government approvals. The new agreement will provide Emirates passengers with seamless connections on Condor-operated flights across Germany to popular destinations in Mallorca and the Canary Islands, as well as to international destinations in North, Central and South America and the Caribbean.

The expanded partnership will enable Condor to offer the German airline’s passengers traveling to the Middle East the placement of its marketing code “DE” on airline tickets on Emirates-operated flights from Dubai to some of the popular travel destinations in Africa, Central Asia and the Indian subcontinent. The initiation of code-sharing coincides with the launch of Condor’s Berlin-Dubai route which will have daily flights operated on Airbus A320neo, which will commence next October.

The agreement was signed by Adnan Kazim, Emirates Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer, and Peter Gerber, Condor CEO, at the IATA Annual General Meeting in Dubai. The signing ceremony was also attended by members of each airline’s executive management teams.

In November 2023, Emirates and Condor signed a mutual connectivity agreement, enhancing customer access to the 70 routes operated by both airlines in Europe, Africa, Asia, Australia and the Middle East through a single price and seamless connecting baggage service. The two airlines also signed a frequent flyer program agreement that allows Emirates Skywards members to earn and redeem miles on all flights operated by Condor.
