Emirates Expands Boeing 777 with Upgraded Cabins to Eight Additional Cities as Cabin Renewal Program Accelerates
Emirates continues to rapidly advance its cabin renewal program by introducing its upgraded Boeing 777 aircraft to eight new destinations.
The cabin upgrades on each aircraft will be completed within three weeks, with the newly updated planes entering commercial service immediately. By September 2025, Emirates plans to operate its fleet of renovated Airbus A380s and Boeing 777s in 44 cities.
The following destinations will soon see the introduction of the modernized Boeing 777s:
- Lisbon: Starting June 1, 2025, all services on EK191/192 and EK193/194 will feature the newly upgraded cabins.
- Dublin: Beginning June 25, 2025, flights EK161/162 will operate with the refreshed aircraft.
- Hong Kong: From July 15, 2023, passengers on flights EK382/383 will enjoy the updated cabins.
- Maldives: The upgraded cabins will initially be available on services EK658/659 from July 1, 2025. They will then be added to flights EK656/657 and EK660/661 starting July 15.
- Kolkata: Beginning August 10, 2025, the Boeing 777s with updated cabins will be scheduled four times a week (Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday).
- Colombo: Starting August 10, daily flights EK650/651 will operate with the newly refurbished cabins, alongside the introduction of the new Airbus A350.
- Johannesburg: From September 25, 2025, flights EK765/766 will be served by the Boeing 777s with upgraded interiors.
- Cape Town: Starting September 20, 2025, daily flights EK770/771 will feature the refurbished cabins.
Additionally, a second service to London Stansted, EK067/068, will operate with the modernized Boeing 777s starting June 1, 2025.
