A couple of weeks ago, Emirates was considering expanding its network to new destinations in Asia. Yesterday, the airline officially confirmed its arrival in three cities across Cambodia, China, and Vietnam.
With these additions, the Dubai-based airline will offer 269 weekly flights to 24 airports in Asia, including four in mainland China, three in Vietnam, and two in Cambodia.
Shenzhen, China
Starting July 1, 2025, Emirates will launch a daily service between Dubai and Shenzhen (China). This route will provide convenient connections to and from key markets such as Kenya, Egypt, South Africa, Saudi Arabia, the United Kingdom, Italy, Spain, and major destinations in the United States.
- Flight EK328 will depart Dubai at 10:05, arriving in Shenzhen at 22:00.
- The return flight, EK329, will leave Shenzhen at 23:55, landing in Dubai at 03:40 the following day.
Emirates first entered China in 2002 and currently serves Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou. The new Shenzhen service will be operated with Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, configured in four classes: 8 First Class suites, 40 Business Class seats, 24 Premium Economy seats, and 260 Economy seats. Emirates SkyCargo is expected to transport 10 tons of cargo per flight between Shenzhen and Dubai.
Da Nang, Vietnam
The new route to Da Nang (Vietnam) will begin on June 2, 2025, with four weekly flights (Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday) via Bangkok. This will complement Emirates’ existing services to Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City while improving connections to cities such as Paris, Amsterdam, Manchester, Rome, and Milan.
- Flight EK370 will depart Dubai at 09:00, arriving in Bangkok at 18:25. It will then continue, departing Bangkok at 20:10 and landing in Da Nang at 21:50.
- Return flight EK371 will leave Da Nang at 23:30, arriving in Bangkok at 01:10 the next day. It will then depart Bangkok at 03:40, arriving in Dubai at 06:50.
Siem Reap, Cambodia
Flights to Siem Reap (Cambodia) will begin on June 3, 2025, with a stop in Bangkok, adding to Emirates’ Phnom Penh service, which operates via Singapore. This new connection will allow travelers to reach destinations in France, the United Kingdom, Spain, Germany, Portugal, and Russia.
- Flight EK370 will depart Dubai at 09:00, arriving in Bangkok at 18:25. It will then continue, leaving Bangkok at 20:10 and arriving in Siem Reap at 21:30.
- Return flight EK371 will depart Siem Reap at 23:50, arriving in Bangkok at 01:10 the next day. It will then depart Bangkok at 03:40, landing in Dubai at 06:50.
Flights to Da Nang and Siem Reap will be operated using two-class Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, featuring 35 Business Class seats and 386 Economy seats.
