Flights operated by several airlines, including Emirates, to Beirut were suspended in July 2024 due to escalating tensions in the region. The conflict intensified after a rocket launched from Lebanon struck the Golan Heights, resulting in the deaths of 12 people. Facing uncertainty over potential reprisals and regional security, many airlines temporarily canceled their operations to Rafic Hariri International Airport.
With the resumption of these services, Emirates connects Beirut and Baghdad with its network of over 140 global destinations. Tickets are now available through the Emirates website, mobile app, official stores, contact centers, or authorized travel agencies.
