Euroairlines and World2Fly Launch Direct Flights Between Paris and Punta Cana
The airline plans to transport 10,000 passengers in its first season, with plans to expand operations in the winter of 2025-26.
Euroairlines, in collaboration with World2Fly, has launched direct flights between Paris-Charles de Gaulle (CDG) and Punta Cana (PUJ), aiming to strengthen connections between France and the Dominican Republic while facilitating access to one of the Caribbean's top tourist destinations.
These flights, marketed by Grupo Euroairlines, will enable tour operators, travel agencies, and partner airlines to expand their offerings of direct routes. The operation will run from February 7 to May 2025, with two weekly frequencies.
Restoring Connectivity Between France and the Dominican Republic
The new route was officially announced on December 12 at the Embassy of the Dominican Republic in Paris. Its launch responds to the need to restore air links between both countries following the suspension of Air France and Corsair operations in Santo Domingo and Punta Cana in 2023.
During the event, Gregory Taffouraud, Commercial Director of Euroairlines, highlighted that the route is expected to transport approximately 10,000 passengers in its first season, strengthening the airline’s presence in the French market. The flights will be operated with Airbus A330 aircraft, configured in an all-economy layout with 388 seats.
After the inaugural flight, Euroairlines announced plans to resume the same operation for the next winter season, extending service from November 25, 2025, to May 26, 2026, with the goal of tripling the number of passengers transported.

Competition in the France-Dominican Republic Market
Euroairlines faces competition from Air Caraïbes, the only airline operating direct flights between France and the Dominican Republic year-round. Air Caraïbes runs between two and seven weekly flights from Paris-Orly (ORY) to both Punta Cana (PUJ) and Santo Domingo-Las Américas (SDQ).
