Eurowings reestablishes Düsseldorf–Azores connection and adds exclusive routes
Eurowings, the German leisure airline, has announced new routes for summer 2025, including exclusive services from Hanover to Lisbon and Erbil, and the reestablishment of its Düsseldorf–Azores connection. With additional flights from Stuttgart and Cologne, the airline continues to expand its holiday offerings.
Eurowings, the German leisure airline, has scheduled a new nonstop service between Düsseldorf and Ponta Delgada, in the Azores, starting May 10. Outbound flights will depart on Saturdays at 06:25, while return flights from the Azores to Düsseldorf will take off at 10:10 on the same day. This service reestablishes a direct connection between North Rhine-Westphalia and the Azores, further expanding the airline's holiday options.
New Eurowings routes for summer 2025
In Hanover, Eurowings is introducing three new routes for the summer season. Two of these routes, Lisbon and Erbil, will be operated exclusively by the airline. Starting June 6, Lisbon will have three weekly flights (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday). Flights to Erbil, Iraq, will commence on March 31, with two weekly frequencies (Monday and Friday). Additionally, starting May 3, there will be weekly flights to Bastia (Corsica) on Saturdays.
In Stuttgart, Eurowings will offer direct service to Dublin four times a week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday). Additionally, starting May 1, Cologne will be connected to Porto with three weekly flights (Monday, Thursday, and Saturday).
All new routes are now available for booking through Eurowings' regular sales channels.
