Argentina’s Aircraft Factory (FAdeA) announced last week that its Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) division has received a key certification for its commercial expansion, with the addition of the Boeing 737 Next Generation (NG) and 737 MAX-8 families to its list of approved services.
"At FAdeA, we continue to strengthen our presence in the aircraft maintenance sector with the acquisition of a new authorization from Argentina’s National Civil Aviation Administration (ANAC), which expands our operational capacity in the commercial MRO business," the company stated.
According to reporting by our partner outlet Aeroin, the certification authorizes FAdeA to perform basic maintenance on Boeing 737-600/700/800 and 737 MAX-8 commercial aircraft, including scheduled inspections and troubleshooting of technical issues.
This milestone marks a strategic step in FAdeA’s expansion into the aerospace maintenance market, opening up new opportunities for collaboration with airlines and operators across the region.
"The hard work and dedication of our team were essential to achieving this new milestone, which aligns with the goals of our Commercial MRO Business Unit and reinforces our position as a competitive and reliable player in the sector," FAdeA concluded.
