Since January 1, 2025, FlyArystan operates under the FS code, assigned by the International Air Transport Association (IATA), replacing the previous code KC. This change coincides with a significant milestone for the airline: the addition of a new Airbus A320 Neo, manufactured in Toulouse, France.
With this acquisition, FlyArystan adds its 24th aircraft to the fleet, consolidating its position as the leading low-cost airline in Kazakhstan. This model, with a capacity for 188 passengers, has been named “Spica”, in honor of one of the brightest stars, reflecting the company’s aspiration to lead the accessible air transport sector.
The A320 Neo introduces significant technological innovations. Thanks to new-generation engines and an improved design, it reduces fuel consumption by 20%, which also translates into a notable reduction in carbon emissions. Additionally, the aircraft is quieter compared to previous models, contributing to a lower environmental impact.
Richard Ledger, President of FlyArystan, highlighted the importance of this addition: “The arrival of a new aircraft from the Airbus factory in Toulouse not only strengthens our ability to expand routes and increase frequencies but also reinforces our commitment to sustainability and quality in air travel.”
