GetJet Airlines, a Lithuanian charter and aircraft leasing company under GetJet Aviation Holdings, announced a leadership change. Effective March 12, 2025, Inga Duglas will assume the role of CEO, replacing Rūta Kulvinskaitė, who has led the company for the past four years.
Duglas brings over 15 years of experience in the aviation industry and joins GetJet Airlines after serving as Chief Commercial Officer at Magnetic Group for four years. She also chairs the Board of the Lithuanian Civil Aviation Association (CAVIA).
Strategic vision and growth plans
Darius Viltrakis, CEO of GetJet Aviation Holdings, highlighted Duglas' strategic vision and alignment with the airline’s long-term goals. "Her expertise will be key to strengthening our operational capacity and expanding our presence in technical services and asset management," he stated.
Expressing enthusiasm for her new role, Duglas said, "I'm confident that my experience aligns with GetJet Airlines' growth ambitions. I see a great opportunity to expand our service portfolio, enhancing our self-sufficiency and competitiveness. I look forward to working with the team to achieve sustainable growth and deliver high-quality service."
A leadership transition for expansion
This executive change aligns with GetJet Airlines' expansion strategy. Viltrakis emphasized the significance of this transition for the company’s development, stating, "This new leadership brings the necessary expertise to consolidate our growth strategy and strengthen our internal capabilities."
The company also acknowledged the contributions of outgoing CEO Rūta Kulvinskaitė. "Her professionalism and leadership have been crucial to our growth, helping GetJet Airlines solidify its market position and navigate industry challenges," Viltrakis noted.
