This Sunday (16), GOL hosted an event at Belo Horizonte International Airport, in Confins (MG), to show off the airline’s newest customized livery, this time in honor of the 60th anniversary of Monica, a character created by Maurício de Souza.
The partnership between GOL and Mauricio de Sousa Produções (MSP) now takes the action «Coelhadas no Ar» to the four corners of Brazil, through the Boeing 737-800 registered under the registration PR-GXW.
The aircraft, fully adhered, internally and externally, has unpublished arts created exclusively by MSP in celebration of the 60th anniversary of Monica, a character who has won millions of fans across the country and the world.

All external adhesives were produced by an approved and specialized supplier and their application took about three days. The internal adhesive was made at GOL Aerotech, the company’s maintenance and painting unit. The total process took about 10 days.
The livery features the famous stuffed rabbit Samson, at the front of the aircraft, flying when thrown by Monica. In the center, there is the writing «Mônica 60», followed by the phrase «It has always been strong».
Finally, at the rear, the character that bears the tribute. At the tips of the wings, the winglets also have an image of the rabbit. Gol explains that the image tells a story in which Monica throws her mascot through the air before boarding the aircraft.
