Heathrow Airport has unveiled the first phase of "The Windsor by Heathrow", its newly renovated VIP terminal designed to offer an exclusive and highly personalized experience for high-profile travelers. This three-year transformation project represents an investment of over £3 million.
The renovation includes enhanced private suites, a redesigned atrium, and an art gallery featuring works by renowned artists such as Banksy and Andy Warhol, which can be purchased via QR codes.

An Exclusive Door-to-Plane Experience
According to Heathrow, "The Windsor" provides a seamless, high-end service ensuring maximum privacy and comfort for travelers. Key benefits include:
- Private chauffeur service in electric BMWs
- Fast-tracked airport procedures and security screening
- Personal butler service
- Michelin-starred dining menus curated by chef Jason Atherton
The terminal is available to First Class and Business Class travelers, regardless of airline or departure terminal. Heathrow reports that top destinations for VIP passengers using this service include Doha, Riyadh, Dubai, Los Angeles, and New York.
Charlotte Burns, Head of VIP Services at Heathrow, emphasized:
“The Windsor by Heathrow is more than just a rebrand—it reflects our legacy in luxury travel. We ensure that every detail, from door to departure, delivers an unmatched experience.”
British Design, Exclusive Art, and Bespoke Experiences
The redesigned terminal now features eight private lounges and a refurbished reception area, crafted by Oliver Burns Studio, blending contemporary luxury with comfort.
“The Windsor” also serves as a high-end art gallery, showcasing pieces from iconic British artists such as David Hockney, Tracey Emin, and Francis Bacon, alongside global legends like Andy Warhol. The collection will be refreshed every two months in collaboration with Tanya Baxter Contemporary.

Additionally, travelers can purchase luxury British products, including:
- Skincare items from Commune
- Exclusive fragrances from AUGUST&PIERS
Growing Demand for VIP Travel at Heathrow
According to Heathrow, demand for its VIP service has doubled over the past decade, and it is expected to double again within the next three years as the program expands.
Heathrow was the first airport in the world to offer a VIP service over 60 years ago, initially catering to royalty and diplomats. Over time, the service extended to commercial clients, particularly ahead of the London 2012 Olympics.
Pricing and Future Investments
VIP service at The Windsor starts at £3,812 for up to three passengers, according to Heathrow.
This renovation is part of Heathrow’s £2.3 billion investment plan, which aims to modernize airport facilities over the next two years.
