As part of the expansion and modernization plan for Rafael Núñez International Airport in Cartagena, a new VIP lounge has been inaugurated in the domestic terminal. The space, named the Heroica VIP Lounge, aims to provide a more comfortable and efficient experience for travelers.
Located on the second floor of the domestic pier, just past the security checkpoint, the lounge spans 280 square meters and features a design that incorporates architectural and decorative elements inspired by Cartagena, including balconies and artwork that pay tribute to the city.
The available amenities include high-speed internet, dedicated work areas, ergonomic furniture, TV screens, and a diverse food and beverage selection.

According to Carlos Cuartas, manager of the OINAC concession, the opening of this lounge is part of a broader effort to transform the airport: “We want to offer modern and functional facilities that meet the needs of both tourism and the corporate sector,” he stated.

Access to the lounge is available to all domestic flight passengers, regardless of the airline. Entry can be granted through memberships like Priority Pass and Lounge Key, or by purchasing a daily pass for $33. Children under six can enter for free. Advance reservations are available but not required.
This opening adds to a series of recent initiatives by the concession, including the launch of the Chantilly K’fe & Bakery restaurant and several upcoming projects, all aimed at enhancing infrastructure and raising service standards at Cartagena’s main airport.
