    The Ministry of Health of Honduras reported on Monday that it will maintain the sanitary requirements to enter the country during the pandemic unchanged.

    Passengers who present a vaccination card stating that they have received a dose of the COVID-19 vaccine are still required to present proof of completion of an RT-PCR test or antigen test with a negative result for COVID -19.

    It must be carried out within 72 hours prior to arrival in Honduras and covers passengers arriving by air, sea or land. In addition, the agency recalled that all users must wear masks and maintain social distancing of 2.5 to 3 meters.

    «The Ministry of Health is on alert at the points of entry into the country to attend people who manifest symptoms associated with the coronavirus, and take the corresponding measures as established by the World Health Organization in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic» they concluded.

    Honduras is currently connected through San Pedro Sula, Tegucigalpa, La Ceiba and Roatán with 14 destinations in the United States, Mexico, Panama, Spain, Cayman and San Salvador with 111 flights per week.

    According to information obtained by Aviacionline through Cirium, a global aeronautical intelligence company, these are the weekly frequencies scheduled by the airlines in March 2021.
