Iberia Express Strengthens Winter Schedule with Extra Flights to Popular Destinations
Iberia Express scheduled 42 additional flights to meet demand during the December bridge, from December 5th to 9th.
“The December bridge is a great opportunity to visit the Canary Islands or the Balearic Islands, and at the same time, we are seeing an increase in demand for flights to Madrid to enjoy this long weekend in the capital,” said Isabel Rodríguez, Commercial Director of Iberia Express.
Iberia Express strengthens its schedule to the Canary Islands by adding additional flights to Tenerife North and South, Lanzarote, Fuerteventura, and Gran Canaria, with a total of 276 departures added to its services with the archipelago.
In the Balearic Islands, it will also increase its capacity with twelve flights, four in Mallorca and eight in Menorca, totaling 116, including the operation to Ibiza. On the other hand, Iberia Express has added two additional flights in Berlin and two more in Marrakech to meet the high demand for both services during the December bridge.
In summary, the low-cost carrier will operate 622 flights over these four days and will offer its customers nearly 122,000 seats across the 22 national and international destinations it operates during the winter season.
