Icelandair Expands Its Network in the U.S., Canada, and Europe with New Routes in 2025
Icelandair is set to expand its North American network in the upcoming season, adding Nashville, Detroit, Pittsburgh, and Halifax to its list of destinations. These new routes will complement the airline’s existing services to major cities such as New York, Boston, Toronto, Seattle, and Chicago, further strengthening its presence in the United States and Canada.
Additionally, Icelandair will continue operations in Denver and Vancouver, offering passengers access to prime winter destinations for skiing and mountain sports.

In Europe, Icelandair has introduced new year-round routes to Barcelona and Rome, while also adding Lisbon and the Faroe Islands to its schedule of regular flights.
For winter travelers, the airline will maintain services to Tenerife, Alicante, and Gran Canaria, catering to those seeking warm-weather getaways. Meanwhile, ski enthusiasts will have access to routes to Innsbruck, Salzburg, Munich, Zurich, and Verona.
Connectivity with Iceland and Greenland
Beyond its international network, Icelandair continues to enhance connectivity within the Arctic region. The airline has strengthened access to Greenland, operating four destinations in the summer and two year-round. Additionally, its regional network within Iceland remains robust, ensuring daily flights between Reykjavik and multiple domestic locations.
