Jerez Airport has launched 35 new EV charging points in its public parking area. According to Aena, the infrastructure includes 34 slow-charging stations and one semi-fast charger, providing an additional option for travelers using electric mobility.
The charging system is managed through the AenaEV app, allowing drivers to register their vehicle, select a parking spot, and set the desired charging time and power level. Once the process is complete, the app automatically stops the supply and releases the charging cable. As stated by the company, users must pay for the service before leaving the parking facility.
Charging fees vary depending on the type of charge and are available within the app. With this initiative, Jerez Airport joins Spain’s expanding EV infrastructure network, supporting the transition to sustainable mobility.
