JetSMART announced on Monday the launch of JetSMART GO, a new monthly subscription model for domestic flights in Argentina, Colombia, Chile, and Peru. According to the company, this marks the first initiative of its kind in South America.
The system, which follows a format similar to streaming service plans, allows users to access a set number of domestic flights each month by paying a fixed fee. According to the airline, passengers can take up to 12 flights per year with zero base fare, only covering airport taxes at the time of booking.
JetSMART GO offers four different plans, with promotional launch prices starting at ARS 33,000 in Argentina, the company said. Bookings must be made at least seven days in advance, and the plans allow users to choose between six or twelve annual flights, either one-way or round-trip.

“We want to be the revolution in aviation with this new alternative for booking flights,” said Víctor Mejía, Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) of JetSMART. “Today, we want our customers to experience what it means to travel SMART—travel more for less, lock in ultra-low fares, and use our subscription model to plan their journeys,” he added.
The company explains that the process to access JetSMART GO includes four steps: choosing a plan, customizing the trip with baggage options, registering a user and payment method, and logging in to start making reservations. Payments will be charged automatically each month.
According to JetSMART, the goal of this model is to offer fare predictability and greater accessibility in a context where flight prices can fluctuate due to demand or seasonality.
