Judith McKenna and Christophe Beck Join Delta Air Lines’ Board of Directors
Delta Air Lines has strengthened its board of directors with the appointment of Judith McKenna, former CEO of Walmart International, and Christophe Beck, CEO of Ecolab. These industry leaders bring decades of global business expertise to Delta’s leadership team
Delta Air Lines has announced the appointment of Judith McKenna and Christophe Beck as new members of its board of directors. McKenna, who retired in January 2024 as President and CEO of Walmart International, will assume her new responsibilities on February 7, according to Delta's official website.
With a career spanning 27 years at Walmart, McKenna held key leadership roles, including President of Walmex, Walmart’s operations in Mexico and Central America, Chief Operating Officer of Walmart U.S., and CEO of Walmart International. She has also served on the boards of Flipkart, an Indian e-commerce leader, and PhonePe, a prominent Indian fintech company. McKenna currently serves as a Non-Executive Director at Unilever PLC.
Her academic credentials include a Law degree from the University of Hull and a Chartered Accountant designation from KPMG in England and Wales. In 2014, the University of Hull awarded her an honorary Doctorate of Law.
Christophe Beck, the President and CEO of Ecolab Inc., also joins Delta’s board. Ecolab is a global leader in water, hygiene, and infection prevention solutions. Beck brings with him 30 years of global management experience, with expertise in marketing and sales across Europe, Asia, and North America.
Beck joined Ecolab in 2007 and rose to CEO in May 2022. Prior to this, he held executive roles at Nestlé from 1991 to 2006. He holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical and Aerodynamic Engineering from the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne.
These appointments reflect Delta’s commitment to strengthening its leadership with diverse expertise from global business leaders.
