LATAM Airlines Appoints Brazilian Executive Ricardo Bottas as Chief Financial Officer
LATAM Airlines Group announced the appointment of Ricardo Bottas Dourado as its new Vice President of Finance (Chief Financial Officer, CFO), who will assume the position starting January 2025, subject to the migration procedures required by Chilean authorities.
According to the company, Bottas, a Brazilian national, has over 20 years of experience in the financial sector, holding strategic roles such as auditing, controlling, treasury, financial planning, mergers and acquisitions, and investor relations. The group highlighted that these credentials, along with his ability to lead organizations in competitive and complex environments, were key to his selection.
LATAM also emphasized the executive’s experience in implementing growth strategies and his deep understanding of the financial market, aspects it considers fundamental to addressing the challenges of the aviation sector in the future.
