LATAM Airlines Group reported significant growth in its operations during 2024, transporting 82 million passengers, an 11% increase compared to 2023. According to the company, this result represents the highest number of passengers transported in its history.
In the Spanish-speaking domestic markets (Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru), LATAM Airlines transported 31.11 million passengers in 2024, an 11.1% increase over 2023. In the Brazilian domestic market, it carried 34.84 million passengers (+5.6%). The international segment saw the highest growth, with 16.06 million passengers transported (+24.3%).
In December 2024 alone, LATAM moved 7.3 million passengers, a 5.4% increase compared to the same month the previous year. This growth was accompanied by a 10.9% rise in the group's consolidated capacity, measured in available seat-kilometers (ASK). LATAM attributes this increase mainly to a 16.1% growth in its international offering.
Among the new routes inaugurated were flights from Santiago de Chile to Bariloche, Recife, and Punta del Este, and from Lima to Montego Bay and Rosario. These connections strengthen the company’s international network and contribute to the annual consolidated capacity growth of 15.1% compared to 2023.
