LEVEL will expand its operations in South America during the European summer of 2025, offering 24% more seats compared to the same period in 2024.
For the first time, the Buenos Aires–Barcelona route will have daily flights from July to September. In June and October, the airline will operate six weekly flights, while in April and May, it will offer five weekly flights. This increase was announced in October 2024 as part of an agreement between LEVEL and Visit Buenos Aires to promote Argentina’s capital in Spain.
Meanwhile, the Santiago de Chile–Barcelona route will operate four weekly flights between July and September, a 19% capacity increase from 2024. For the rest of the season, it will maintain three weekly flights.
This expansion is possible thanks to the addition of a seventh long-haul aircraft, enhancing operational efficiency and strengthening Barcelona’s connectivity.
First-Ever Daily Summer Flights Between Buenos Aires and Barcelona
LEVEL will now offer a daily flight on the Buenos Aires–Barcelona route during the summer season, a frequency previously only available in winter.
The airline remains the only carrier offering nonstop flights between Buenos Aires and Barcelona, as well as between Santiago de Chile and Barcelona.
Lucía Adrover, Chief Commercial & Network Officer at LEVEL, stated:
"The European summer of 2025 reaffirms our commitment to long-haul connectivity between the Americas and Barcelona. The addition of our seventh aircraft allows us to strengthen operations and achieve the milestone of offering a daily flight from Buenos Aires in summer, something we had only managed in winter before."
Expansion in U.S. Routes from Barcelona
LEVEL will also expand its presence in the U.S. market:
- Barcelona–New York will operate daily flights from April to September.
- Barcelona–Boston and Barcelona–Los Angeles will have daily flights in July and August, the peak travel months.
The Barcelona–Boston route will see the largest growth, with a 51% increase in seat availability in April and nearly 20% more seats in May compared to summer 2024. LEVEL will continue to be the only airline offering direct flights between Barcelona and Los Angeles.
Meanwhile, the Miami and San Francisco routes will operate four weekly flights between June and September, and three weekly flights during the rest of the season.
