LOT Polish Airlines is strengthening its presence in the Iberian Peninsula with the launch of its new nonstop route between Warsaw and Lisbon. With this addition, LOT becomes the fifth airline to operate flights between Poland and Portugal, joining Smartwings Poland, Ryanair, TAP Air Portugal, and Wizz Air.
Inaugural Flight Details
The first flight, LO 425, was operated by a Boeing 737 MAX (registration SP-LVP), departing from Warsaw Chopin Airport (WAW) on February 3 at 11:05 AM (local time) and landing at Lisbon Humberto Delgado Airport (LIS) at 1:34 PM, after a flight time of three hours and 29 minutes.

The route’s inauguration was marked by a ceremonial event, attended by:

Enhanced Connectivity Between Poland and Portugal
In addition to strengthening air connectivity between Poland and Portugal, this new route offers seamless connections via Warsaw to various European and Asian destinations. It is designed for travelers flying for tourism, business, or visiting family and friends.
